NCP MP Supriya Sule’s saree catches fire at an event; No injuries

NCP leader Supriya Sule’s saree caught fire during the inauguration ceremony of an event in Pune on Sunday. “There is nothing to panic. I am safe and okay,” said Sule, the MP from Baramati and daughter of NCP supremo Sharad Pawar. The incident took place in Hinjewadi, where she inaugurated a karate competition. She was garlanding a statue of legendary Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj after lighting a lamp when the incident took place.
