New ‘Superman’ movie set to reboot DC universe, ‘The Batman’ sequel to come in 2025

The DC Comics cinematic universe is under new management, and it’s coming out with a new Superman movie, another cinematic Dark Knight, and a sequel to “The Batman” with Robert Pattinson. On Tuesday, DC Studios co-chairman and CEO James Gunn and Peter Safran announced 10 theatrical films and the first wave of HBO Max TV shows. This first instalment “tells cohesive stories that highlight love, compassion and the innate goodness of the human spirit,” Safran said.
