No arrival from UK till 2021: Centre bans flights to India

India has now joined a lengthy list of countries banning flights to and from the UK amid the pandemic. Over the last few weeks, there has been a spike in COVID-19 cases, as a new strain of the virus makes its presence felt in the UK.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation on Monday afternoon suspended all flights originating from the UK to India till the end of 2020. The suspension will remain in effect till 23.59 hours on 31st December 2020.
