Not informed about bond conditions during admission! MBBS medicos move HC

2018 batch of MBBS students from Kasturba Medical College (KMC) approached the Karnataka High Court against the State Government for imposing a compulsory rural service bond on them. KMC is a constituent private medical college under Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Deemed University. As per the rules, MBBS students enrolled in government medical colleges must undergo a compulsory one-year rural medical service.
