Odisha to disburse Kalia assistance to 40 lakh farmers

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will release financial assistance of Rs 2,000 to the eligible farmers under the Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation or KALIA scheme on the occasion of Akshay Tritiya tomorrow.
The financial assistance will be transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries in a special programme at 5 pm tomorrow.
