Ontario Nature Staff and Volunteers Plant 900 Trees

Ontario Nature's expert biologists and volunteers joined to learn about habitat restoration at the Sydenham River Nature Reserve, and plant native trees and shrubs to transform fields into what will one day grow to Carolinian forest habitat.

"The astounding biodiversity remaining within the Sydenham River Watershed despite intense development pressures is a testament to the resiliency of nature. But it needs our help," said Smera Sukumar, Nature Reserve Manager.
