Over 50 injured in 3 Jallikattu events | Trichy

Fifty-one people were injured on Thursday at three Jallikattu events in Navalur Kuttapattu in Trichy, Thirukkanurpatti in Thanjavur, and Mukkanipatti in Pudukkottai district. The Jallikattu in Navalur Kuttapattu started at 8 am. In Thirukkanurpatti, Thanjavur collector Dinesh Ponraj Oliver flagged off the Jallikattu early in the morning. A total of 25 people including seven bull tamers, 10 bull owners and eight spectators and organisers were injured in the event.
