Fraudsters are using KYC messages to dupe Paytm customers. If a Paytm user dials the given number, a fake customer service officer will receive the call.
The caller will then try to scare the user into downloading remote access apps like AnyDesk or TeamViewer to verify KYC status. This will let the fraudster see the user's PC or mobile screen. The moment a user does any online transaction, the credentials get stolen.
