PCB writes to Pakistan government seeking clearance to travel to India for World Cup

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has written to the Pakistan government seeking for official clearance to travel to India for the ODI World Cup in October. In the letter addressed to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the PCB also sought clarity on whether the government had any reservations about any of the venues assigned to the team for their matches. The Pakistan cricket team has not visited India since its participation in the 2016 Men's T20 World Cup.
