PM expresses grief over Maharashtra bus accident, announces Rs 2 Lakh ex-gratia

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced ex-gratia payment of Rs 2 lakh for the surviving family members of those killed in the bus accident in Buldhana on the Samruddhi Mahamarg Expressway. He also promised that individuals hurt in the accident would receive Rs. 50,000. A bus heading from Yavatmal to Pune on the Samruddhi Mahamarg Expesswayway caught fire in Buldhana, resulting in 25 deaths and 8 injuries. CM Shinde also declared Rs 5 lakh ex-gratia.
