PM remembers Bharat Ratna MGR on his birth anniversary

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today remembered former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Bharat Ratna awardee M G Ramachandran on his 105th birth anniversary. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, MGR is widely admired as an effective administrator who gave top priority to social justice and empowerment.
He said, his schemes brought a positive change in the lives of the poor. Prime Minister said, his cinematic brilliance is also widely acclaimed.
