Power Secretary reviews status of biomass utilisation in thermal power plants

Union Power Secretary chaired the second meeting of the Steering Committee for SAMARTH which is the National Mission for Use of Biomass in coal-based thermal Power Plants on January 14, 2022.
Biomass co-firing and the progress of the actions being taken to promote the co-firing in the thermal power plants was reviewed by the Union Power Secretary in the meeting, according to a release by the Press Information Bureau.
