Preparations underway to bring South African cheetahs to Gandhi Sagar Sanctuary

Today marks exactly one year of the first time a batch of cheetahs from Namibia were released into a special quarantine facility at Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh. India is planning to bring another batch of cheetahs from South Africa by the end of this year. When that happens, the plan is to relocate them to the Gandhi Sagar Sanctuary in Madhya Pradesh. Nauradehi is also being prepared.
