President Murmu confers Bharat Ratna to two former PMs

Indian President Droupadi Murmu conferred the Bharat Ratna to former prime ministers Chaudhary Charan Singh and P V Narasimha Rao, veteran BJP leader and former deputy PM L K Advani, eminent agricultural scientist and architect of Green Revolution M S Swaminathan, and former Bihar chief minister Karpoori Thakur. Chaudhary Charan Singh, P V Narasimha Rao, Karpoori Thakur and M S Swaminathan were given the award posthumously.
