Puducherry schoolboy repairs pothole after his grandfather suffers fracture

Sekhar, 60, met with an accident while trying to avoid a pothole and got hit on the back by another motorbike and broke his leg. Masilamani, 13-year-old grandson, collected sand, gravel and other materials lying scattered and, after mixing them with cement, filled the pothole and other damaged portions of the road in Sendhanatham in neighbouring Villianoor. Pathukannu road is covered with potholes due to a lack of maintenance and alleged negligence from authorities for nearly seven years.
