A food cart owner has been arrested by the police for allegedly beating up two unidentified ragpickers in Saswad.
The police informed that the ragpickers have died due to the thrashing. A 65-year-old woman was also assaulted and injured by the accused. The accused identified as Nilesh alias Pappu Jaywant Jagtap is a resident Tathewadi village in Saswad. He has been arrested on charges of murder.
