Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi announced Punjab Government Employment Guarantee Scheme on Wednesday, promising 1 lakh government jobs each year to youngsters. A development that comes as his government pushes for reelection later this year.
Channi, who joined the NCC parade and sang poetry couplets to the students of Lovely Professional University on Tuesday, also promised free coaching for all competitive examinations.
