Rail roko: Northern Rly expects smooth day, no change in train schedule

A day ahead of the 'rail roko' planned by farmers, Northern Railway on Wednesday said it was monitoring all possible locations where there might be some disruptions. Farmers have called for 'rail roko' between 12 pm and 4 pm on Thursday.

While Northern Railway issued a list of trains on Wednesday that were being cancelled, short-terminated and diverted, it clarified these were on account of the continued farmers' agitation in Punjab and not due to the rail roko.
