Rain brings respite to Delhi, no heatwave till May 28

Thunderstorms and a bout of rain in parts of the national capital on Monday brought a much-needed respite for Delhiites from the tormenting heat. Notably, the temperature in the city fell by 11 degrees from 29 degrees Celsius at 5.40 AM to 18 degrees Celsius by 7 AM.
The weather department has forecast cloudy weather conditions and thunderstorms on Tuesday as well.
