Rape FIR against married man quashed after he promises never to contact woman

Bombay High Court heard a plea filed by the accused against whom an FIR was registered on February 3, 2024, at the Lonavala Police Station in Pune Rural for rape, criminal intimidation, and causing hurt by means of poison, etc., with intent to commit an offence. In an affidavit, the woman stated that there had been an amicable settlement between her and the accused, and thus she was withdrawing all her allegations made in the FIR.
