Researchers develop 12-hour method to detect diabetes onset in patients via AI

Researchers at Klick Applied Sciences have figured out how to use artificial intelligence to turn continuous glucose monitor (CGM) into a potential tool for diabetes monitoring and prevention. In findings presented at NeurIPS conference in New Orleans, Klick scientists revealed how they used machine learning and just 12 hours of data for CGMs to determine whether a patient is pre-diabetic or diabetic.
