Respect local languages: KTR to Indigo airlines after ‘discriminatory’ incident

Telangana minister for IT and industries KT Rama Rao (KTR) on Sunday requested Indigo Airlines to start respecting local languages after an instance of language-based discrimination went viral on Twitter.

A woman was made to change seats because she understood only Telugu and not English or Hindi. KTR commented, “Dear Indigo Management, I request you to start respecting local languages & passengers who may not be well conversant in English or Hindi.”
