Rohit Sharma fined for overspeeding on Mumbai-Pune Expressway

Rohit Sharma, captain of the Indian cricket team, was fined for overspeeding twice while heading to Pune from Mumbai to play against Bangladesh at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium where India defeated Bangla Tigers by seven wickets in the ICC World Cup 2023. "These speeding violations occurred on October 17 and as per rule action was taken. The fines were promptly paid," Lata Phad, Superintendent of Highway Police said.
