Rs 67.5 lakh unaccounted money seized in Kerala

Police have seized Rs 67.5 lakh unaccounted money from a person who arrived at Kuttipuram railway station in Malappuram district on Sunday morning.Police said that Muhammedali has in his statement said that the money belonged to a Vengara native who is engaged in hotel business in Chennai.
The seizure was made on the basis of a tip off received by Kuttipuram inspector of police Saseendran. Police said that they would submit a report about the seizure to the income tax department and the enforcement directorate.
