Russia all set to launch e-visa for Indian passport holders; travel will get easier

In a move aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and boosting tourism, Russia is launching electronic visas (e-visa) for Indian passport holders from August 1. The e-visa will reportedly be processed in a maximum of four days and a $40 consular fee will be charged for the facility. The e-visa will facilitate entry into the Russian Federation for a variety of purposes, such as business trips, guest visits, and tourism, among others.
