Russian court slaps $28,000 fine on Google over violation

Facing heat over new social media regulations across the world, search engine Google is slapped with a fine of 2 million roubles ($28,085) from a Moscow court on Monday.
The tech major is fined for not deleting content that Russia deems illegal, part of a wider dispute between Moscow and the US tech giant. Google has meanwhile, confirmed that Russian court ruling, but gave no additional comment.
