SAD’s women wing protests over AAP’s unfulfilled promise

Members of the Istri Akali Dal staged a protest outside the Bathinda deputy commissioner's office on Friday against the non-fulfilment of the pre-poll promise of Rs 1,000 per month made by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Condemning the govt for not allocating any funds for the scheme in the current budget, Bathinda MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal said the Bhagwant Mann-led govt was “betraying” every section of the society, particularly women.
