Johansson had previously declined the company's request for her voice to be used in their new ChatGPT 4.0 chatbot, which reads the material to users aloud. Since the AI chatbot named Sky debuted last week, many users quickly drew parallels between the chatbot's tone and Johansson's in the 2013 movie 'Her'. OpenAI stated that the AI voice will be put on hold while the company responds to "questions about how we chose the voices in ChatGPT."
