Scientists looking at booster dose, primary vaccination very important: Center

The central government on Friday said that the scientific community is considering all aspects of giving booster doses of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine, while primary vaccination of the maximum possible population is the most important goal.

NITI Aayog member (health) VK Paul said, ‘When there is no resource crunch, it will be decided (about the booster dose of the vaccine) based on epidemiological and scientific consultations.’
