Prohibitory orders have been placed in Shimogha city amid violence over the Hijab row. The order will be in place for two days and colleges will also be shut for two days.
Section 144 has been imposed in Shivamogga after violence erupted in the district over the Hijab row. Violence is also being witnessed in Shikaripura.
