Sensex tanks 600 pts as bears revisit D-St

Domestic equity market benchmarks BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 trading nearly one per cent lower on Monday, on the back of weak global cues.

Sensex was trading below 59000 level, while NSE’s Nifty gave up the crucial 17400 level. Maruti Suzuki, ICICI Bank, Power Grid Corporation of India, IndusInd Bank, Bharti Airtel were also top Sensex gainers.
