Sensex tumbles 1000 pts; Nifty down 300; all indices in red

Indices dropped sharply by more than 1.5% on Friday with Sensex trading 1000 points lower and Nifty 300 points. IT and Auto indices sink. UPL, Tata Consumers, M&M, Hero Motors stocks are deep in the red. IndusInd and Cipla gain.
