Sequoia National Park’s famous Generals Highway will fully reopen soon 

The Generals Highway in California's Sequoia National Park will reopen on July 1, allowing visitors access to the Giant Forest, home to the iconic General Sherman tree. Although road construction is still ongoing in some areas, traffic lights will be used to manage one-lane vehicle traffic. The park advises caution and reduced speeds due to heavy damage from winter storms.
