Siemens bags Delhi Metro Phase 4’s Electrification contract

Siemens Ltd. on 6th April has emerged as the lowest bidder for the 25 kV AC OHE traction contract of the 38.235 km Magenta Line’s new 2.03 km underground extension between Janakpuri West and Krishna Park Extension.

Previously Alstom Transport had won this tender for the 65.1 km Delhi Metro Phase 4 project in June 2021, but their bid was rejected because it was higher than the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) ’s estimate.
