SpaceX is giving interested people an opportunity to beta-test its recently launched Starlink satellites. SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk has said that the company needs about 400 Starlink satellites to provide "minor" coverage and 800 for "moderate" coverage. The report mentions that the initial Starlink mega-constellation will have 12,000 satellites.
The website now invites enthusiasts to "Get updates on Starlink news and service availability in your area," by filling out a form to enter an email address and zip code.
