Sri Lanka wants to host Asia Cup amid discussions

Amid hot discussions on the Asia Cup, Sri Lanka Cricket has stepped in and offered to play host. Earlier, the right to host was won by Pakistan. However, BCCI has strictly rejected the idea of travelling to the neighbouring country to play because of political tensions. The ACC meeting is just a few days away and this is a rather big claim from one of the boards. Many of the cricket boards have rejected the hybrid model of Pakistan of having matches in Pakistan and the UAE.
