Despite Sweden's 3-0 loss to Serbia at Friends Arena, the supporters remained in their seats to honour the country's greatest football player after the whistle. Ibrahimovic was shown in a film highlighting his career accomplishments before he entered the pitch under a guard of honour. Emotions ran high, much like with his departure at AC Milan. Reminiscent of his departure at San Siro in 2023, he poignantly said, "You are welcome, Sweden. Love you."
