Tamilnad Mercantile Bank shares surge after listing at discount

Shares of Tamilnad Mercantile Bank made a dull stock market debut on Tuesday with the stock listing at ₹495 apiece on the NSE, a discount of more than 3% as compared to its IPO issue price of ₹510 per share. On the BSE, the stock started trading at ₹500 per share, later surged to ₹519 in afternoon deals.
The initial public offer (IPO) of Tamilnad Mercantile Bank got subscribed 2.86 times on the last day of subscription.
