Tata Steel commissions first steel recycling plant in Haryana | Business Standard News

The steel major has commissioned its new 0.5 MnTPA steel recycling plant at Rohtak, Haryana. The plant has been set up in collaboration with Aarti Green Tech, as a 'Build, Own, Operate' (BOO) partner. The plant is equipped with modern & mechanised equipment such as shredder, baler, material handler etc.
The scrap would be procured from various market segments such as end-of-life vehicles, obsolete households, construction & demolition, industrial etc., through an app called FerroHaat.
