Teams with direct qualification for 2026 T20 World Cup

India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Australia, West Indies, USA, England and South Africa - the teams qualifying for the Super 8 round of the ongoing edition have qualified for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026 to be held in India and Sri Lanka jointly. Sri Lanka qualify directly as they are the co-hosts. The three highest-ranked teams on the ICC T20I rankings as of June 30, 2024, will also qualify directly for the T20 World Cup 2026.
