Advocating the use of advanced technologies, Murthy said, “Technology is about reducing cost. It’s about increasing revenues. It’s about increasing profitability. So technology has a lot of value. Technology also does something that most people don’t realise. Technology is a great leveller... That’s what financial inclusion has done. What you have experienced. So my personal view is there are areas where we cannot do without AI.”
