Tesla in talks with 5 state governments to begin India operations

Tesla is in touch with five state governments in India and is now exploring the possibility of setting up manufacturing, R&D centres in the country.
The news comes days after Tesla CEO Elon Musk confirmed that they are looking to begin operations in India in 2021. The report added that Tesla is actively consulting Centre and state governments and is in the process of carrying out a location search for setting up operations.
