This heart-shaped lake in Kerala should be on your travel list

One such gem that you must be on your travel list is Chembra Lake in Wayanad, Kerala. Chembra Lake is a heart-shaped lake nestled amid lush green hills. Also called 'Hridayasaras' or Heart Lake, it is located near the town of Kalpetta, a popular tourist attraction. The moderate 3.5km trek begins from the Forest Department base camp. The best time to visit is August to May as the weather is usually moderate during this period.
