Three ex-employees convicted of bribery

Three former employees were convicted on Saturday by Special Judge, Vigilance, Dhenkanal, for demanding and accepting a bribe from a contractor for the release of the final bill in connection with the execution of a cement concrete road. The court ruled that in default of payment of the fine, they have to undergo further RI for 6 months each for the offence U/s 7 PC Act, 1988.
