Three massive avalanches shake JK in two landslides in Kishtwar district

A landslide struck Dachan Marwah road in the Kishtwar region of J&K on Saturday morning owing to heavy snowfall. The administration has issued an advisory for travellers not to venture at the Jammu-Srinagar highway without consulting the traffic control unit. The SDMA issued a ‘high danger’ avalanche warning for the Kupwara district of north Kashmir and a ‘medium danger’ warning for Bandipora, Baramulla, Doda, Ganderbal, Kishtwar, Poonch, Ramban and Reasi districts.
