Thrilling rescue by SDRF saves 10 stranded in Dehradun

State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) rescued 10 people stranded on an island near Robbers Cave (Guchu Pani) in Dehradun across a fast-flowing river using ropes. Incessant rainfall resulted in the rise of the Ganga River's water level. It also led to the flooding of roads and leaving several vehicles partially or completely submerged. The local administration has urged residents and visitors to avoid bathing in the river due to the hazardous conditions.
