TikTok Shuts Down India Business, Future Of 2000 Indian Staff Uncertain

The Chinese social media firm, Bytedance has announced that it will be terminating its business in India. Which means TikTok won't be returning, at least not anytime soon.
The spokesperson said, "We have done our best since then to address their (Indian government''s) concerns. We regret that this was the result of a lack of clear direction from the government of India on how and when our apps could be reinstated. "
