Trains off Pamban Bridge till January 10

Train operations on Pamban rail bridge, which have been stopped since Dec 23 due to red alerts emanating from the CHM system fixed on a span of the bridge, have now been suspended till Jan 10. Railway authorities will take the opinion of RDSO, Lucknow, which is their technical advisor, before operating trains on the bridge. Train operations bound for Rameswaram will be handled from Mandapam station till Jan 10.
