Travel advisory: IMD issues yellow alert in Himachal for lightning and thunderstorm

IMD has issued a yellow alert for Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh and predicted thunderstorms and lightning at several places. IMD said that several areas in Uttar Pradesh are likely to receive rainfall, hail and lightning. IMD also added that light to moderate, fairly widespread to widespread rainfall/ snowfall with thunderstorm/ lightning/ gusty winds over J&K, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Goa.
