Travellers who have taken Covaxin shot can enter United States from November 8

The United States on Wednesday included Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin to its list of approved vaccines against coronavirus. Travellers who have taken the Covaxin shot will be allowed to visit the country from November 8, when the US opens its borders.

"CDC’s travel guidance applies to FDA approved or authorized and WHO Emergency Use Listing vaccines and encompasses any new vaccines that may be added to either of those lists over time,” US Centers for Disease Control press officer Scott Pauley said.
